Disabled Parking
The centre has disabled parking in both our surface car park and our multi-storey. Disabled access from our multi-storey is located on level 5.

Wheelchairs
We are pleased to offer wheelchairs on loan, at no cost to the user whilst you visit our shopping centre. These are available from our control room, which is located beside the public toilets.

Accessibility
Most of our entrances and exits are located on the same level as our shops, except one. This is the entrance/exit that is located beside our surface car park. However, we do have a public lift and a ramp at this location.

Parking
We have 1100 parking spaces at the Rivergate Shopping Centre. Our surface car park is located in-front of our Asda and Primark stores, and our multi-storey car park can be accessed from the back of the shopping centre. Both car parks offer Parent & Child and Disabled Parking.

We provide safe spaces...
Safer Parking Award
The Safer Parking Scheme is a national standard for UK car parks that have low crime and measures in place to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. A Park Mark is awarded to each car park that achieves the challenging standards. The distinctive Park Mark signage helps drivers find car parks where they can confidently leave their vehicle, knowing the environment is safer.
Wheelchairs
The DPA scheme recognises off-street parking facilities which are accessible to disabled people. The DPA is primarily aimed at improving parking for disabled people and reducing abuse of disabled bays. Car parks that achieve DPA Accreditation demonstrate to their customers that they are committed to creating high-quality parking facilities for disabled people.
